  • 1 Large Pot
  • 1 Large Pan for sautéing the mushrooms and cooking the shrimp
  • 1 Colander or Straine
  • 1 Sharp knife
  • 1 Spatula or Tongs for flipping the shrimp and tossing the pasta mixture


  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • pound mushrooms
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves 
  • pound dryid vermicelli 
  • ½ tbsp roasted pine nuts 
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter 
  • 1 glove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp  fresh basil, chopped


  • Begin by heating a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, add the dry vermicelli noodles and cook according to the package instructions. Once the noodles are cooked, drain and set aside.
